Kumasi (RWH) Zach Lund has been named as Head Performance Director of Team Ghana. The Bobsled and Skeleton Federation of Ghana has announced this on their Facebook page.

As Skeleton athlete for the USA, Zach Lund won the 2007 Overall Skeleton World Cup as well as 2007 World Championships Bronze. He finished 5th at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver (CAN).

Since 2012, he worked as Coach for the US Skeleton Team.

2018 in PyeongChang, Akwasi Frimpong became the first Skeleton athlete from Ghana to compete at the Winter Olympics. ©RWH2018
