Alison King happy to be sex symbol

The actress plays glamorous knicker factory boss Carla Connor in the ITV1 soap.

Asked if she enjoys being a sex symbol, Alison told Reveal magazine: "Erm, I don't know that I am - but yeah, why not?"

She went on: "I've just turned 37, so way to go! They can call me a sex symbol if they want."

On the Street, Carla has caught the eye of many a man, and is currently enjoying stepping out with Trevor Dean (Steve Jackson).

But Alison said her sexiest leading man was Rob James-Collier, who played her lover Liam Connor.

"He's gorgeous, the definition of good looking. Personally, I like roughed-up boyish looks, with a bit of hair on the face," she said.
