Will Smith starrer started slow on Eid day one due to lesser number of shows but Aladdin grew exponentially over the five day long Extended first Weekend. Aladdin has later held its grounds well by doing solid business.

The film has led over all the releases in second Week as Aladdin remained number one at the boxoffice chart last Week. Aladdin has closed its boxoffice around PKR 98 million as per estimates in two weeks. The film is a major success at the boxoffice as performance is exceedingly well especially looking at the number of shows.

Aladdin had excellent trending during the five day long Eid Weekend as film grew daily. This type of trending is never seen before for any major film in recent years as Eid usually sees a drop in numbers post the three days. But Aladdin actually saw gains after Eid three days on Saturday and Sunday.

Aladdin is set to hit 100 million mark on its third Friday becoming second English film of the year to hit this mark after Avengers: Endgame. Right now both the films hitting 100 million are Disney’s releases. The next film expected to join the list will be Disney’s The Lion King which would give top three slot to Disney in Pakistan.
