Asians rising against Communist China

J20 Declaration

We, Justice 20 Executive Committee, declare a protest against dictator Xi Jinping of the Communist Party of China’s one-party dictatorial regime who comes to Japan for the G20 at the end of June, 2019 in order to realize freedom, peace, democracy, and the right of peoples to self-determination.

The extremely cruel suppression of human rights and slaughter of peoples by the Communist Party of China has begun, in fact, since the foundation of People’s Republic of China. The Communist Party of China has colonized Tibet, South Mongolia (Inner Mongolia), Uyghur (East Turkestan), etc., and it not only has trampled on peoples’ cultural traditions and religious faith, but also has continued to slaughter innocent people. The mass detention camps named “re-education camps” that exist all over Uyghur (East Turkestan) at present symbolize it.

As typified by the Tiananmen Square Massacre, the Communist Party of China has also oppressed and slaughtered Chinese people who wanted democratization. Mr. Liu Xiaobo, who had been continuing to advocate peaceful democratization, died in prison without receiving proper treatment in spite of the fact he had received the Nobel Peace Prize. There have been countless victims for the past 70 years in China.

The Xi Jinping regime is not hiding their ambition of hegemony, territorial expansion, and economic interest expansion, and it is threatening peace and international order in the entire Indo-Pacific such as the East China Sea, the South China Sea, etc. Especially, it openly threatens Taiwan, intervenes in its internal affairs, and conducts an act of aggression against the Senkaku Islands of Japan, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The Belt and Road Initiative that the Xi Jinping regime is advancing is aiming to spread the influence of its dictatorship throughout the world.

The Communist Party of China praises itself, saying that the Reform and Opening-Up Policy developed economy, but it’s rough and rampant development that ignores the will of the residents has led to environmental deterioration of the entire land including the desertification of South Mongolia. Disorderly construction of factories without pollution control has caused air pollution, polluted water resources such as those in Tibet, and brought PM 2.5 and yellow dust to Japan and other surrounding countries.

We cannot help but conclude that it is the Communist Party of China’s one-party dictatorial regime and all-life dictator, Xi Jinping that are the enemies of freedom, peace, democracy, and the right of peoples to self-determination of the Indo-Pacific and the entire world as well. We, J20, demand the following of the Government of the People’s Republic of China, the Communist Party of China and all-life dictator Xi Jinping.

  1. The Chinese government shall close down all detention camps in Uyghur (East Turkestan) and release the detainees.
