CBS 4 changing over-the-air signal to 23.2 midnight tonight

News

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. announced today the acquisition of CBS 4 in the Rio Grande Valley viewing area.

Nexstar owns and operates KVEO-TV, the NBC affiliate serving the area, and will be moving the CBS affiliation to KVEO 23.2. Nexstar is advising over-the-air viewers that they may need to rescan their television sets to ensure that they continue receiving CBS network programming. Cable and satellite subscribers don’t need to take any action.

Viewers of Estrella, Grit or Escape over-the-air channels will also have to do a rescan of their TV since these channels have changed. Estrella TV over-the-air signal will be 4.4, Grit will be 4.5, and Escape will become 4.6. Cable and satellite subscribers don’t need to take any action.
