Quess East Bengal FC rope in former Real Madrid Castilla midfielder
The Red and Gold brigade has completed the signing of former Real Madrid Castilla and Bengaluru FC defensive midfielder Victor Perez Alonso for the remainder of the season.
Victor Perez, 32, is a defensive midfielder who is expected to replace out of form Kassim Aidara in the East Bengal team. The Spaniard last played for Zalgiris FC in the Lithuania’s top division league. He is expected to arrive Kolkata at the earliest.
Victor Perez has played in the La Liga for Real Valladolid previously and also few other teams. He also has experience of playing in India previously with Bengaluru FC in 2018, where he featured in the ISL Play offs and the Super Cup which they won defeating East Bengal FC 4-1 in the final.
The Red and Gold brigade are also hopeful of replacing another out of form defender Marti Crespí with former defender Johnny Acosta soon.
