Feminists celebrating book pulping caused by staff walkout aren't doing themselves any favours for future. It's v bad precedent. (There's also no court conviction. Redemption narratives by *convicted* criminals get published all the time). This isn't wise, just, or brave decision

And I won't be here for inevitable "he did, oh no he didn't" stuff. Your missing of the point and getting distracted into "he did, oh no he didn't" is the problem. Point is: what publishing is for, what relation it should have to current vagaries of public opinion.

i suppose i think that large scale organisation by workers to deny advocacy to the works of a credibly accused sexual predator is a rare instance of praxis? but that's just me!
