Hollywood stars for Simon Fuller and Sir Ridley Scott

Britons Simon Fuller and Sir Ridley Scott are to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

TV and pop mogul Fuller, 50 - the creator of American Idol - and film director Sir Ridley, 72, are among 30 stars who will be honoured next year.

Oprah Winfrey, Penelope Cruz, comedienne Tina Fey and The Muppets are also among star recipients named by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

Fuller's company manages stars including the Beckhams and Andy Murray.

Sir Ridley is best known for films including Alien, Blade Runner and Gladiator.

Donald Sutherland, Danny DeVito, Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow are among actors to he honoured.

There are also stars for former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash and Will.i.am, of Black Eyed Peas.

Posthumous stars go to singer Buddy Holly and trumpeter Louis Prima.
