New Line’s decided to go on “Mancation,” snapping up Jared Bush’s comedy pitch and setting it up with Benderspink.
Story centers on a man who thinks marriage has robbed his younger brother of his manhood and drags him on a testosterone-filled “mancation” to help him get it back. New Line-based Benderspink’s Chris Bender, JC Spink and Jake Weiner will produce. Bush and Benderspink recently teamed on the romantic comedy “Save the Date,” also in development at New Line. He’s also worked on “Adrenaline” for Radar.
