A couple of months ago there was a buzz that Vidyut Jammwal would be a part of Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2. The film is the sequel of Kamal's hit film Indian, which released in 1996. While the cast of the film boasted of Vidyut, reality is that the actor isn't a part of the film. Speaking about his absence from the project, Vidyut says, “The team had approached me for Indian 2. However, I was busy doing Khuda Hafiz (Faruk Kabir's) and the dates couldn't match.” The actor says that Indian 2 has a great script. While he could be a part of Kamal starrer, Vidyut will soon be seen in a film opposite Kamal's daughter Shruti Haasan. “It's a film called Power, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar,” says Vidyut. Currently the actor is busy promoting his action franchise, Commando’s third installment. The Aditya Datt directorial, Commando 3, stars Adah Sharma and Angira Dhar. Directed by S. Shankar, the film also stars Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh among others. As per reports, Vidyut was approached for the role of lead antagonist.
