Katie Piper is to front a third series of Bodyshockers: Nips, Tucks and Tattoos for Channel 4.

In the factual series, Piper meets individuals who desperately regret their body modifications and introduces them to others who are contemplating similar radical procedures in an effort to deter them. The former model also unearths the very latest in bizarre beauty procedures and meets body modification enthusiasts who have gone to exceptional measures to alter their look.

“With more and more procedures available to anyone wanting to change the way they look, modifying our faces and bodies has never been easier to do but far more difficult and terrifyingly painful to undo. We’re delighted that Channel 4 has ordered another series which promises to be bigger, bolder and weirder that before.” – Managing Director, Remarkable Television, Colette Foster

Channel 4’s Head of Features, Gill Wilson adds: “After a second successful series full of truly bodyshocking nips, tucks and tattoos from hell, I am intrigued to see the stories and people that Katie will be meeting in series three.”

The third series will comprise of six 60-minute editions to be produced by Endemol subsidiary Remarkable Television for transmission later this year. The second is currently attracting an audience of 1.9m viewers per episode on Channel 4 and a 7% share of the audience.
