Breaking into the World

This is our mission statement, and we firmly believe that, no matter where we are, we are to be an expression of God's Love! Services

All-Together Services - New times

First Sunday of the Month, 8:30 am and 11.00am

MULTICULTURAL
SERVICE

Our Multicultural Service is an opportunity to worship the Lord together in English, with participation from various cultures and language groups across our community. This service is contemporary in style; while still honouring our

church roots...

SAMOAN SERVICE

Our Samoan Community holds various events in the life of our church, but perhaps the most significant is the Gagana Samoa Tapuaiga where the Samoan community has the opportunity to worship the Lord in language and following Samoan tradition...

TONGAN SERVICE

The Tongan Community is perhaps our most significant community in terms of numbers. LCMUC has had the privilege of holding Tongan worship for nearly thirty years. With Lea Fakatonga Youth, Brass Band, Bible Studies and Fellowship Groups; the Tongan Community is very active...

GEN2 SERVICE

Our GEN2 Service meets the needs of the often overlooked 'second' generation in our community. These are the children (and sometimes grandchildren) of migrants who came and have been a part of our church; but now identify with more of a hyphenated identity. This worship incorporates many elements of modern worship ...

Many Cultures, Many Languages, ONE GOD

At LCMUC, we value the cultural traditions of all our members. Our church is a place in which people are accepted and can freely come to worship in their own heart language and in a culturally appropriate manner. However, we hold strongly to Christ's words:

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth,

for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks."

John 4:23

Thus, we endeavour to be true to the Spirit in our worship, in whatever language or whatever style we worship the Lord.

Below are listed our worship services:

HELP US TO SPREAD THE MESSAGE!

If you would like to help us spread the message of Christ in the Logan area and beyond, you can start through Prayer!

Pray for our ministry as we reach the lost and disenfranchised people of Logan,

Pray for our leaders who minister in our cultural contexts and outside of our cultural contexts to share the Gospel,

Pray for our ongoing Multicultural engagement, both within the life of the Christian church,

and as we represent the multicultural community in the political arena

Pray for our Gen 2 Ministry and our Youth as they wrestle with questions of faith,

culture and language in our modern 21st Century context.

You can also help through giving. If you believe in the multicultural ministry of our community,

please contact us below to find out how you support this ministry financially.
