Seventeen years after “The Last One,” Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer are returning to Warner Bros.’ Stage 24 for “Friends: The Reunion.”

The reunion special will stream on Thursday, May 27, exclusively on HBO Max. The night before, on May 26, HBO Max will host “Friends Reunite for Friends” screening events in New York and Los Angeles, in which select guests and super-fans can see the special in-person before it hits the streaming service. The experiences, at The Greens at Pier 17 in New York and Hollywood Forever Cemetery in L.A., will feature pre-show entertainment tailored for each location.

For a chance to attend, fans can enter #SuperFriendsFan UGC sweepstakes via HBOMax, HBOMaxPop and “Friends” social channels. There will also be a live-streamed red carpet component on May 26 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. PT, which will feature exclusive programming, guest-star appearances and live segments from both “Friends Reunite for Friends” screening events.

Otherwise, the special will hit HBO Max, which costs $14.99 per month, on Thursday at 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET.

“Friends: The Reunion” will celebrate the iconic sitcom’s legacy and feature guest stars including Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, BTS, Reese Witherspoon, Kit Harington and James Corden, who will interview the “Friends” cast.

Also set to make appearances are Mindy Kaling, David Beckham, Cindy Crawford, Malala Yousafzai, Cara Delevingne, Elliott Gould, Larry Hankin, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler and Maggie Wheeler.

As seen in the trailer below, the cast will play a game of “Friends” trivia and sit down for a table read, reenacting some of the series’ funniest moments. The special will also feature Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, LeBlanc, Perry and Schwimmer hanging out in the famous apartment, recounting their fondest memories from shooting the show and reflecting on how it impacted their lives and careers.

Ben Winston directed the special and executive produced it alongside “Friends” executive producers Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman and David Crane, as well as Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, LeBlanc, Perry and Schwimmer. Emma Conway, James Longman and Stacey Thomas-Muir co-executive produced. “Friends: The Reunion” comes from Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon, Fulwell 73 Productions and Bright/Kauffman/Crane Productions.
