CreativeMeter releases India’s First Music Video showcasing the love story between two women : “Phir Se”
Mumbai: CreativeMeter, a entertainment media technology startup production company has today announced the release of its music video “PhirSe” which showcases a unique love story between two young women. The
video features the popular television actress Veebha Anand who had essayed the role of Sugna in Balika Vadhu, and Bhavna Makhija who is known for her Bollywood movie Baar Baar Dekho. Hanu Dixit has essayed the role of onscreen lead singer in the video.
Produced & Directed by Yogitha Karve’s company CreativeMeter, “Phir Se” is a rock song set in a post grunge genre, featuring a unique lesbian love story. The story is one of sensitivity, separation, courage and provides hope to women caught at the emotional cross-roads of life. The muisc video is shot by ace Cinematographer Tarun Achpal
Lending melody and expression to the album is Siddharth Basrur, India’s talented vocalist and the song is composed by Apoorva Mudgal. The music has been scored by the young and talented Shwetang Shankar, noted to be one of India’s musical child prodigies.
Speaking on the announcement Yogitha Karve- Founder, CreativeMeter said “The production of this music album, aims to foster respect and understanding for young women and men often caught in an emotional backlash due to their sexual orientation.”
The recent Supreme Court verdict abolishing Section 377 of the IPC, has provoked creative thought in the music industry. “Phir Se” is an effort to show support and respect towards the LGBT community.
The music video “Phir Se” was launched today, 31st January, 2019 at Mumbai Press Club at 2pm. The video is now available on YouTube.
