Xiaoyu Liu
Shao u Liu studied under Dang Thai Son at the Universite de Montreal and under Richard Raymond at Montreal Music Conservatory. He is a laureate of plenty competitions such as: Prixd’Europe 2015, Arthur Rubinstein Competition in Tel Aviv (2017), Interlaken Classics in Bern, Sendai International Music Competition and Grand Prix Animato (Paris, 2016). First prize at the piano competition at the 11 th International Music Festival in Viseu, Portugal ( 2019 ).
Shao u Liu is a finalist of International Music Competition in Montreal (2014).
He made plenty of studio records of Beethoven, Chopin, Ravel, Sati for SCS Radio-Canada which were broadcast all over the world.

Shao u Liu performed solo concerts in Canada, China, USA, Japan, France, Italy, El Salvador, Poland, Israel, Switzerland. As a soloist, he played with the best orchestras, such as: Cleveland Orchestra (USA), Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (Israel), Montreal Symphony Orchestra (Canada), Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra (Japan), Israel Camerata Jerusalem Orchestra (Israel), North America Orchestra, etc.
In 2014, he participated in North American tour with Chinese Orchestra, performing Maurice Ravel's "G major Concerto", as well as playing with them in The National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing. His interpretation, presented during the tour, was described by newspaper "National Post" as “sophisticated series of performances in French colour”.
