"Too-Angelic Idol" Kanna Hashimoto Joins "Assassination Classroom" Live-Action Film as Ritsu

The AI student also known as "Autonomously Thinking Fixed Artillery"

The official site for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Yusei Matsui's Ansatsu Kyoushitsu/Assassination Classroom manga today revealed the cast for Ritsu/Autonomously Thinking Fixed Artillery. 15-year-old Kanna Hashimoto, who is known as "The idol who is too angelic" because of her innocent cuteness, plays the AI student in class 3-E. Her visuals in the costumes of school teacher, nurse, student, and gym uniform are also posted.

 

151cm-tall Hashimoto is a member of Fukuoka-based idol group Rev. from DVL. The group was originally formed as DVL in 2003, then changed its name to Rev.from DVL in June 2006. It now consists of 13 members from 13 to 20-year-old. She recently appeared in the live-action TV CM for the popular social game Girl Friend Beta as its new image character.

 

The Assassination Classroom live-action film will be released in Japan on March 21, 2015. A teaser for

the film will be screened at theaters across Japan from December 6.
