Chelsea have stepped of their approach to European scouting by signing former Palermo sporting director
Cattani, 47, was a part of the scouting network that brought Juventus star Paulo Dybala to Serie A - signing the Argentine forward at Palermo in 2011.
He becomes the latest in a long list of Italians to join the Premier League leaders, with manager Antonio Conte bringing a number of his personal staff along with him last summer.
