Steel collection for recycling
It all begins with the collection of disused ferrous material that we concentrate in our 21 Recycling Centers.
Recycling
We process, clean, and transport it to our steel mills.
We transform 98% of residues into sub-products that are used in other industries, such as:
Railroad
Agriculture
Ceramics
Construction
Pharmaceutical
Oil
Foundry
We turn it into liquid in our Smelting Furnaces.
Ladle furnace
Once it is melted, it passes to the Ladle Furnaces where we ensure the best quality of the steel.
Casting
We mold it in a bar shape (billet) and we cool it.
The billet is a bar-shaped semi-finished steel product, which is used as raw material for the rolling process through which long steel products are obtained, such as rebars, wire rods, bars & beams, among others.

Rebar, bars 6 beams, wire rods, and wire products are supplied to the 7 markets of the economy where we are present.
At the same time, the industrial wire rod is the raw material for the wire drawing process to produce wire.

When the products complete their life cycle.

We reuse them and convert them into new DEACERO products, over and over again.
