A commercial redevelopment in west Little Rock is in motion after a $1.15 million deal.

National Bank of Arkansas in North Little Rock bought the former studios of Fox affiliate KLRT-TV, Channel 16, and UPN affiliate KASN-TV, Channel 38, at 11711 W. Markham St. from Clear Channel Broadcasting Inc. of San Antonio.

The 1.7-acre property will become home to an 18,000-SF building that will house an NBA branch and more.

Clear Channel purchased the development for $1.2 million in August 1991 from Little Rock Communications Associates, led by Garrett Scollard.

LRCA acquired the location for $510,000 in January 1983 from Ralph Erwin III and his wife, Norma.
