LIST: The miting de avances happening before May 9
After three months of sorties, house-to-house visits, and the wooing of voters, the 2022 presidential candidates are nearing the end of the campaign trail.
With their teams and hordes of supporters at the ready, aspirants have already announced their scheduled miting de avances, or "advanced meetings," before election day on May 9.
The staple miting de avance are usually the candidates' final big chance to woo undecided voters or solidify their camps. The final rallies are also usually when a campaign's biggest crowds are drawn. President Duterte's final miting de avance at Luneta park in 2016 drew over 300,000 supporters.

Panfilo "Ping" Lacson
The senator has said that he and his running mate, Senate President Tito Sotto, will first make rounds in Metro Manila before heading to their Grand Rally in Imus, Cavite, Lacson's birthplace. Imus was also where the senator held his proclamation rally last February.
Meanwhile, they will hold their Miting De Avance in Manila.
Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
Marcos and his running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, will hold three final rallies in the country's three major regions as election day nears.
The sorties will kick off in Visayas on May 3 in Guimbal, Iloilo, followed by a Mindanao event on May 5 at Davao Del Norte. The tandem will then finish off in Parañaquei City on May 7, two days before election day.
Leni Robredo
In a Facebook Live, the Vice President has shared that she will end her campaign trail with a miting de avance at NCR on May 7, while there will be grand rallies held in Bicol and Albay in the days prior.`
At the last leg of the campaign period, Robredo has also urged her supporters to continue their house-to-house campaigns.
