pageant this year for the very first time. The country’s representative at the international contest will be Aysel Manafova, an Azeri beauty
queen who was crowned Miss Azerbaijan recently. She will represent her nation at the upcoming international pageant to be held on November 9 in Moscow,
Russia.
Despite the fact that Azerbaijan is a largely Muslim country, it has a very secular
society. The language that people speak there and their way of life are quite similar to that of
Turkey. In fact, Azerbaijani people can understand Turkish well.
