Kylie Minogue tallies her 10th Dance/Club Play Songs No. 1, as “Skirt” hikes 2-1. It’s her seventh consecutive leader dating to “All the Lovers” in 2010. While she scored her first mainstream U.S. success in 1988 with “I Should Be So Lucky” and “The Loco-Motion,” which reached Nos. 28 and 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 (and Nos. 10 and 12 on Dance/Club Play Songs), respectively, she didn’t first top Dance/Club Play Songs until 2002 with “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.” Minogue is reportedly working on her 12th studio album, with collaborators including Jay Z, Sia and Pharell Williams.

Dating to the chart’s Nov. 12, 1994, inception, it’s just the 12th song to launch at the summit. It’s also Iglesias’ record-breaking third No. 1 start on the tally, following his chart-topping bows with “Enamorado Por Primera Vez” and “Solo En Ti,” both in 1997. (Iglesias passes Mana, who’s scored two No. 1 entrances.) Santos makes his seond arrival at No. 1; his “You” began on top the week of May 28, 2011. “Loco,” which concurrently debuts at No. 3 on Latin Pop Songs and No. 4 on Tropical Songs, previews Iglesias’ forthcoming bilingual album. His current English-language single, “Turn Up the Night,” meanwhile, bullets at No. 23 on Pop Songs.
