Update: a fix was deployed on late Friday to stop the issue from affecting additional accounts. The fix did not address already affected accounts.

The team will reconvene on Monday to work on the fix for impacted members. More updates will come.

Update: Yesterday our team initiated the work to reactivate the incorrectly suspended accounts.

Please check if your account has already been reinstated; if not give it a few hours & please check again.

Unfortunately, no email followed the reactivation.

I appreciate the patience and passion from all of you here, and again apologize for the inconvenience and the impact on your accounts.

Keep in mind that suspended gamers lost their streaks and well over 1000 points due to no being able to gain them. A decent balance compensation would be a stellar gesture ;)

I have been banned with this error 3 days ago. And after several contacts via phone (several hours), 3 tickets to Microsoft Rewards team, Microsoft support twitter, and nobady helps me. Im still banned. This is a really frustrating situation get banned with no reason, receive an automatic/generic answer several times and after 3 days nobody helps you removing this ban. We are thousand Xbox users affected around the world I hope in some moment at least 1 Microsoft employer can help us. I really hope you can help me to recover my Microsoft Rewards account. Thanks beforehand and have a nice day
