ANNOUNCEMENT – Miss USA Finals on FYI Network, Monday, October 3, 2022
The ink just dried on the contracts needed for us to announce that the Miss USA Pageant Finals will be on the FYI Network on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time…and we are thrilled!
Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Week will be in Reno, Nevada and the competitions will be held on the stage at the Grand Sierra Resort (“GSR”).
We have special Friends and Family Rates and a room block at the GSR. The link to book rooms at the GSR is: https://book.passkey.com/GO/MISS22.
Please use this link to book rooms. If you decide to call GSR to book your rooms, please provide the reservationist with the code “MISS22” to receive the Friends and Family Rates. The Friends and Family Rates are effective for rooms booked on any nights from the night of September 25, 2022 thru October 4, 2022. Please feel free to share the link or the MISS22 code with everyone.
The rooms for our Miss USA and Miss Teen USA State Titleholders are booked by the Miss USA Organization and are available as follows:
Teens: Check-in to GSR on September 27, 2022; Check-out on October 2, 2022
Miss: Check-in to GSR on September 26, 2022; Check-out on October 4, 2022
State Titleholders or their families/directors are responsible for the cost of room nights on dates outside the above dates for our Miss USA and Miss Teen USA State Titleholders.

On the Road with Miss USA 2021 – Elle Smith
The past two weeks have been jam-packed preparing for Miami Swim Week! I have been working out in the gym to make sure I feel as confident as possible walking down the runway.
After spending the weekend in Cancun at the beautiful NIZUC Resort and Spa and returning home from meeting the fabulous Miss USA Class of 2022, I celebrated the 4th of July in Los Angeles. Kurve, my apartment complex, hosted a fun-filled weekend full of pool parties, barbeques, and stilt walkers. My best friends got to attend the events and celebrate with me. We finished the weekend off at the Revolve Red, White, and Bootsy All-White Party celebrating the holiday.
Miss Teen USA 2021 Corner – Breanna Myles
Being Miss Teen USA keeps me busy and I’m loving every minute of it!
In the last two weeks alone, I have had opportunities to travel to Houston, Texas and Hollywood, Florida. My most recent travels included attending the Miss Texas Teen USA and Miss Texas USA Pageants in which I not only had the opportunity to see a new Miss Texas Teen USA being crowned, but also met numerous young women from across the USA who will be vying for my title later this year.
While in Houston, I was invited to appear on the Kelly Williams Show to speak about my platform, GEMS (Girls Everywhere Making Strides) which is a TEEN Club encouraging active community service participation amongst teenagers.
I was quickly off to my next destination where I found myself in the Sunshine State and Hollywood, Florida. While in Hollywood, I had the opportunity to serve as a national judge at an event held alongside the Atlantic Ocean. The beach served as the perfect backdrop for my first time serving in such a capacity on a national level. A huge thanks to my Talent Manager and second “Mom”, Darla, for being there with me all the way!!
I’m looking forward to the remainder of the summer and sharing my experiences with everyone.

National Miss USA/Miss Teen USA Sponsor SeneGence
- Titleholders will be receiving SeneGence product boxes at their homes towards the end of the week of July 18th. Also watch for a “SeneGence Brand Sponsor Guide” email from Michael Hannah.
- Two zoom calls are scheduled with SeneGence makeup artists that will include a full-face makeup tutorial. Titleholders need to be present on one of the calls.

We encourage all Titleholders to come with a “bare face” to be able to walk-through all the SeneGence products and be given helpful makeup tips.
On July 9, 2022, our incredible Miss USA Organization sponsor and partner, SeneGence International, presented a $50,000 check to each of two of our Miss USA Organization charitable partner organizations, Smile Train, and Best Buddies. Thank you Joni Rogers-Kante, Cassie Chitty, and the rest of your amazing team for your continued support of the Miss USA Organization and our partner organizations, Smile Train and Best Buddies. At the Miss USA Organization, we love the work being accomplished by all three of these special partners. Mental Health
The Miss USA Organization is a Pageant Family and we care about mental health.
Mental health is integral to living a healthy, balanced life. According to the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI), one in five Americans experience mental health issues which translates to more than 40 million adults a year.
Our mental health encompasses our psychological, emotional, and social well-being. This means it impacts how we feel, think, and behave each day. Our mental health also contributes to our decision making process, how we cope with stress, and how we relate to others in our lives.
Emotional and mental health is important because it’s a vital part of our lives and impacts our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. Being healthy emotionally can promote productivity and effectiveness in activities such as work, school, or pageants. It plays an important part in the health of our relationships, and allows us to adapt to changes in our lives and cope with adversity.
There are steps we can all take to improve our mental health every day. Small tasks such as exercising, eating a balanced and healthy meals, opening up to other people in our lives, taking a break when we need to, remembering something we are grateful for, and getting a good night’s sleep, can be helpful in boosting our emotional health.
Issues related to mental health can impact people in different ways. If we start to see changes in our overall happiness and relationships, there are always ways get the support we want.
The Miss USA Organization Leadership Team is not an authority on mental health, so we will be conducting workshops for all of us with some mental health authorities.
We encourage you to join us for the following Mental Health workshops with these professionals:
- August 16, 2022: 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Central Time: Dr. Elizabeth Berrocal (Mental Health Counselor)
- September 22, 2022: 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Central Time: Kristen Dalton Wolfe (Miss USA 2009 and Board Certified Mental Health and Life Coach)
- October 18, 2022: 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Central Time: Elise Banks (M.S., LPC Psychotherapist and Mental Health Advocate)
- November 17, 2022: 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Central Time: Panel Discussion

JOVANI
Reminder About Addendum B to the 2022 Miss and Teen National Entry Form/Contract.
We are still missing a few signed versions that were due to be returned to Michael Hannah at mhannah@missusa.com no later than July 12, 2022. Please check to ensure you have submitted Addendum B.
Item #1 of Addendum B relates to each titleholder’s understanding of the agreement between the Miss USA Organization and JOVANI and the $2,500 credit that JOVANI is offering to each 2022 Miss Teen USA State Titleholder.
Titleholders have no requirement to wear a JOVANI Evening Gown and may wear the gown/designer of their choice. Titleholders are not required to use the $2,500 JOVANI gown credit but may opt for one of the other $1,000 JOVANI prizes.
There is a legal liability (and now contractual) to pay back the $2,500 if a titleholder uses the $2,500 Evening Gown credit but chooses not to wear the gown for the Preliminary and Final competition. In addition, she now signs that she understands that if she uses the $2,500 credit and decides to not wear the gown for the Preliminary and Final competition, she may be disqualified.
In addition to Addendum B, all 2022 State Miss and Teen Titleholders must sign the Jovani Fashion Ltd. – Evening Gown Sponsorship Agreement. This agreement can be found with the CONTESTANT CHECKLIST in the CONTESTANT SECTION of the Miss USA or Miss Teen USA website. The two documents may seem redundant, but each document serves a separate purpose.
Private Interviews at the 2022 Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Pageants
Private interviews at the 2022 Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Pageants will each be 5-minutes in length in front of a panel of well-qualified judges. The judges’ goal is to get to know who you are and what your thoughts and opinions might be on a variety of topics. They will most likely ask you about topics included on your Official Judges’ Form and current events and topics that are important to members of your generation, so be prepared. The Miss USA Organization Leadership does not dictate any of the questions that will be asked because the organization does not know what each judge would like to know about you. All Private Interviews will be recorded this year.
