SES: O3b mPower delayed again, service to start Q2 2023; video pricing ‘stable to increasing’; SES-17 outperforming its specs

PONTE VEDRA, Florida — Satellite fleet operator SES reported another delay in the deployment of its 11-satellite O3b mPower medium-Earth-orbit constellation, saying launches would not start until late this year.

SES said launches of the first six satellites, which will trigger the start of commercial operations, will occur on three SpaceX Falcon 9 launches between October and December.

In an Aug. 4 conference call with investors in the company’s financial results for the first six months of 2022, SES Chief Executive Steve Collar did not specify . . .
