A New Sanctuary Dedicated to the Art of Alexander Calder

A new initiative spotlighting the artistic genius and enduring impact of Alexander Calder will open in the heart of downtown Philadelphia. Featuring a building conceived by Pritzker Prize-winning design practice Herzog & de Meuron and gardens by internationally acclaimed Dutch landscape designer Piet Oudolf, Calder Gardens is dedicated to the art and ideas of Calder, a native Philadelphian and one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century.
