IC 2-2.2-2-1 establishes a requirement for each legislator to file a written statement of their economic interests for the preceding calendar year.

IC 2-2.2-2.2-2 further establishes that individuals must file a statement of economic interest before filing declaration of candidacy for the Legislature.
