Statistics of phase-array antennas, taking the mutual coupling of radiators into account
Abstract
The Boolean statistics of the excitation amplitude of radiators in a phased array is examined with allowance for their mutual coupling. It is shown that the distribution moments of the array multiplier can be obtained if the corresponding moments for the array without mutual coupling and the mutual coupling coefficients are known. The distribution of the multiplier of an array with a large number of radiators is shown to be asymptotically normal.
