Amma I Love You is a technically sound film: Yogish Dwarakish
Amma I Love You is special for producer Yogish Dwarakish for several reasons. For one, it’s his production house, Dwarakish Chitra’s, 51st film; it is also the third time that he is collaborating with his friends, director KM Chaitanya and actor Chiranjeevi Sarja. As the film hits theatres today, Yogish gets candid with us and tells us just why he thinks that you must watch Amma I Love You…- First, the story of the film has a strong message. You will start loving your mother even more after you watch the film. You will realise, or re-realise, what a mother is. If someone has forgotten their mother or has not been able to reach out to her, then this film will help them revisit their memories and re-connect with their mothers.

- According to me, this is Chiranjeevi’s career-best performance. Sitara, who is an experienced actress, has done a phenomenal job. The movie’s surprise package is Nishvika Naidu, who is one of the most natural, effortless actors I have seen in recent times. Prakash Belawadi is a master actor, who has a challenging role in the film. He was hesitant in the beginning, because he said that the character is unlike any role he has done before. Chikkanna has also done a very good job. As has Biradar. It was great to work with such an ensemble.

- The music by Gurukiran is extraordinary. He is a dear friend and all our collaborations have resulted in great songs, be it Majnu or Apthamithra. I reconnected with Guru when we worked on Aake. When I decided to do Amma I Love You, I called him and said that I wanted him to compose the music of this film. What was a bonus is that he is also a fantastic technician, who understands filmmaking well.

- Shekar Chandra’s cinematography is also praiseworthy. On the whole, Amma I Love You is a technically sound product that the audiences will enjoy.
