Attention Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade Parents: If your child is a virtual student, they will not be provided with a ChromeBook.  Also, on our established ELBC days, ChromeBooks will not be provided for K-2 students.

Activity Objective

In accordance with Clayton County Public Schools Board Policy JD:

Under NO circumstances is corporal punishment to be administered. Corporal Punishment is not allowed in Clayton County Public Schools.  Corporal punishment includes hitting, pushing, grabbing a student or using other physical force in response to student misbehavior.

In addition, it is not the practice or accepted to use physical activity as a means of punishment. E.W. Oliver Faculty and Staff promote healthy lifestyles that includes participating in Physical Education as prescribed by Clayton County Public Schools Curriculum and Instruction, recess, and other organized exercise activities. At no times should physical activity/exercise be used as means of excluding or used excessively as punishment.
