Reelgood: ‘A Man Called Otto’ Tops Weekly Streaming Following Netflix Debut

Sony Pictures’ comedy drama A Man Called Otto topped weekly U.S. streaming following its debut on Netflix, which has an exclusive Pay-1 distribution deal for the studio’s theatrical releases, according to new data from Reelgood. The company tracks real-time data from 5 million platform users living in the United States across SVOD and AVOD services for original and acquired streaming programs and movies.

The movie, starring Tom Hanks as a grumpy widower who meets his match in a quick-witted, pregnant neighbor named Marisol, upended the previous chart topper, Netflix’s original political drama “The Diplomat,” which moved to No. 2. The Apple TV+ original series “Silo,” starring Mission: Impossible co-star Rebecca Ferguson, rounded out the podium at No. 3.

Amazon Freevee’s “Jury Duty” moved up to No. 4, while the Netflix newcomer “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story” entered the chart at No. 8.
