Winston-Salem State University is currently on lockdown.
On Friday, Nov. 10 at 1:23p.m, the school tweeted about the lockdown.
RamALERT: WSSU campus is currently on lockdown. Secure inside a room until further advised. Do not come to campus until advised.

Salem College director of Public Safety Chief Chris Batista informed the Salem community about the situation, stating that there is currently “no known threat to our campus.”
The Salem College alert system then sent out a message about the situation.
We are aware of the WSSU lockdown. We currently have no known threat to our campus, but we are monitoring the situation closely.
Details on the lockdown are unknown.
