| Description | RTÉ broadcaster Larry Gogan, in the commentary box at the Scandinavium in Gothenburg, Sweden, for the Eurovision Song Contest on 4 May 1985. Other commentary positions can be arranged seen in tiers above Gogan. He provided the radio commentary for RTÉ. Ireland was represented by Maria Christian at this contest, singing the Brendan Graham composition 'Wait Until the Weekend Comes'; she finished sixth overall. Norway won the competition. The RTÉ Guide featured two articles, on the contest and on Maria Christian in its edition of 3 May 1985. | |
