Suriya reacts to the response for 'Surya Son of Krishnan' in Telugu states

Suriya is one of the Tamil actors, who is celebrated by people across boundaries, and his versatile roles are a favorite for fans. 'Surya Son of Krishnan', the Telugu dubbed version of Suriya's 2008 Tamil film 'Vaaranam Aayiram' had its theatrical release, and fans of the actor in Telugu states went crazy over the film. With massive response, 'Surya Son of Krishnan' has opened well at the box office to set a new record for a re-released film and fans have been enjoying the film like a new movie release.Suriya took to Twitter to react to the response of the film in Telugu states, and wrote that "This love is a huge surprise!!! A big thank you from team#SuriyaSonOfKrishnan Awestruck - you guys are the best!!".


'Surya Son of Krishnan' has reportedly earned close to Rs 2 crores in 2 days from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and the film is also expected to add another crore on its third day. With the response for the 15-year-old film's re-release, Suriya has proved his fan power in Telugu states, and that's why Telugu people call him as the adopted son of Tollywood.
Directed by Gautham Menon, 'Vaaranam Aayiram' aka 'Surya Son of Krishnan' features Suriya in a dual role as father and son, and the film is about the life journeys of Suriya's both characters. Simran, Sameera Reddy, and Divya Spandana play female leads, and the film has music composed by Harris Jayaraj.
