Vanathai Pola out of top 5 list; newly launched Siragadikka Aasai scores well on TRP charts

The latest TRP report of top Tamil TV shows is sure to leave everyone surprised. While the newly launched show 'Siragadikka Aasai' has managed to bag a third place on TRP chart, the popular show 'Vanathai Pola' is out of the top 5 list.

The family drama 'Ethirneechal' is at numero uno in the recent TRP charts of Top Tamil TV shows. The daily soap is currently progressing with Aadhimuthu Gunasekaran accepting his daughter-in-law JananiShakthivel. The story involves Janani, a high achiever, and her three co-sisters - Eshwari, Renuka, and Nandhini, who are well-educated, while all of their husbands aren't educated at all.

The actress joined the club of 'behind the camera' stars and quit her acting career. She followed her passion for script writing. The TV serial features Madhumitha H, Kaniha, Priyadarshini Neelakandan, and Haripriya Isai in the lead roles.

Television actor Rajesh joins the cast of Idhayam

Actress Shamili Sukumar entered the popular TV show ‘Vaanathai Pola’. Her entry is expected to spice up the drama quotient. The daily soap features Shreekumar Ganesh, Shwetha Khelge and Preethi Kumar in predominant roles.

The husbands dont want their wives to get a job and they forcibly asked their wives to be housekeepers. Janani marries Sakthivel, the youngest brother of the Aadhi family; he is honest and submissive by nature. Janani raises her voice against the male chauvinism in Gunasekaran's house. Sakthi assures his support to Janani in all situations.

Tamil TV show Kayal is an emotional drama that garnered a lot of audience attention. It bagged second place on the list. The serial stars Chaitra Reddy, Sanjeev Karthik, Meena Kumari, Abinavya, Avinash Ashok, and Muthuraman in the lead roles.

'Siragadikka Aasai' is on third place in the recent TRP chart too. The show is currently progressing with Muthukumar and Meena Muthukumar's new beginnings. The story revolves around Muthu (Vetri Vasanth), an alcoholic. He always comes home drunk, whilst also engaging in fights as - even arguing with his mum, who resents him for his bad past. The only two people who have some sort of love and affection for him are his father and grandmother, who raised him as a child. On the other hand, Meena (Gomathi Priya) is a family-centric girl and she lives in a flat with her family. However, they face problems with Sudhakar (the loan shark), who is after Meena. What happens to Muthu and Meena's life, forms the rest of the story.

Suchitra Shetty's performance in a recent episode has brought back luck to 'Baakiyalakshmi'. The show drops down to the fourth spot and Siragadikka Aasai which was in the third spot earlier has grabbed the number one position in the latest TRP chart. The TV serial stars K.S. Suchitra Shetty, Reshma Pasupuleti, Sathish Kumar, Ranjith and others.
The newly launched show 'Iniya' managed to have an impressive start in its premiere week. The series stars Aliya Manasa and Rishi in the lead role and has bagged fifth place.
