What we have found, so far, is that
those in Washington apparently do not like email.
(I sent an email to one of my
senators, in February and got answer in June. I was
later told, "I don't pay attention to email.") This
man's local office now dreads to see me coming.
However, I have also been told that a lobbyist does
NOT take "No" for and answer.
They just keep on and on! If you decide to email, also
contact your local office by telephone.
If you have written an email, why not just print it,
stick in an envelope and send it.
And make that phone call.
Tell them it is coming. Ask for their help. People love
to give advice.
Be a voice not just a faceless
letter.
Here are some sample letters for you. However, it
is best that you write your own.
