'They're like Ross and Rachel from Friends': Ashton Kutcher's twin brother Michael gushes over Mila Kunis engagement and pregnancy

They've known each other for over a decade after starring in That 70s Show together.

And now that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are engaged and expecting their first child together, the actor's twin brother Michael has insisted the loved-up couple were always destined to be together.

Opening up on the happy news in an interview with Us Weekly magazine, Michael even likened the pair's long-running love story to that between Ross Geller and Rachel Green in Friends, famously portrayed by David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston.

He said: 'I love Mila. Those two reunited after 14 years, and I think they were meant to be. It'd be like Ross and Rachel getting married, like David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston getting married!

Michael and Ashton's sister Tausha is also pregnant, and he explained the whole Kutcher family is just thrilled that the couple are expecting.

He added: 'They make such a great couple. I'm so happy for them, I really am. Ashton is in a really great place right now. My sister and Ashton are both expecting - it's so exciting for the whole family!

'Ashton and Mila are so excited to be parents. I have a nine year old myself, and a four year old and there's a 16 year old in the family. We're so excited to expand the cousins of the new generation.'

And Michael is by no means the only one who is thrilled at the prospect of a new arrival.

As a regular cast member of That 70’s Show, Laura Prepon has repeatedly said she wasn’t surprised when co-stars Ashton and Mila ended up dating one another eight years after the show ended.

And now that Mila, 30, is due to give birth at the end of the summer, Prepon has called it an 'awesome' development.

'It's going to be great' when the little one arrives,' gushed the 34-year-old, now one of the stars of the critically acclaimed Orange Is the New Black star.

Prepon talked about the baby news to US Weekly while walking the red carpet at Critics' Choice Television Awards last Thursday - where OITNB picked up several awards.

The raven-haired actress is often asked about Mila and Ashton's relationship - they hooked up in 2012 after Kutcher ended his long-term relationship with actress Demi Moore - since she was with them on the set of That 70's Show since the beginning.

Kunis, 30, who played the love interest of Kutcher's character Michael Kelso on the show, began filming the smash when she was just 14 years old. Kutcher, 36, was 20 at the time.

The actress previously revealed she is still very close to all of her former co-stars and would love to be a bridesmaid at Ashton and Mila's upcoming wedding.

She said: 'Of course I will [be there]. Are you kidding? All of us are going to be right up there on the altar.'

Prepon isn't the only '70s Show alum who has expressed support of the duo. 'That's the thing about the cast of the show. We're best friends, everyone,' Wilmer Valderrama has said.

Mila, who went on to huge fame when starring in the ballet film Black Swan, is reportedly due in August.

She and Kutcher, who took over star duties last year on Two and a Half Men, are said to be expecting a girl.

The reason why Ashton and his twin look so different is that they are obviously 'fraternal twins' and not identical. Identical twins...fraternal means two very separate babies sharing their mother's womb (fraternal twins can be a boy and a girl, too).

I never knew Aston was a twin, or his brother had cerebral Palsy and was this chuffed about Kunis. What is a shame is that they never hooked up when they were on that 70's show together.

People commenting about his brother not being identical to him the reason is he was born with celebral palsy and heart problems.Just because he doesn't look like Ashton doesn't matter.He is fine the way he is.
