They celebrated one year together in September but are rarely seen out and about together in public.

Zac Efron stepped out with girlfriend Sami Miro to the sound of a thousand broken hearts across the nation, during a break filming Neighbors 2 in Atlanta, Georgia, on Monday.

The 27-year-old hunk made a quick wardrobe change before leaving the set with the stunning model.

He swapped out of a white long-sleeved motor-racing tee, into a striped shirt - flashing his famous abs as he rushed to button it up.

The handsome actor removed his baseball ball and dark glasses, but stayed in the same black shorts and trainers.

Sami - who bears a remarkably resemblance to Zac's High School Musical co-star and former sweetheart Vanessa Hudgens - showed off her perfect pins in a skimpy black playsuit.

She flashed her cleavage in the low cut one-piece, which she rocked up with a black leather biker jacket and a cross-body quilted Chanel bag.

The former Disney star had been keeping his long-term relationship with Sami fairly private until he shouted it from the proverbial rooftops earlier this month on social media.

Celebrating their first year together he posted a super sweet snap of them, shot through a sheer net drape, on Instagram and Twitter.

The hunk is seen in silhouette kissing the beautiful model on the head in front of a window with a cityscape behind them.

He captioned it: 'Happy anniversary baby :) I love you. September 5th.'

Sami, also 27, shared her own photo, taken at the same time, with her arm around her beau. 'Time flies when you're having fun,' she wrote. 'Happy anniversary baby. I love you too.'

The pair began dating shortly after Zac ended a short summer fling with Michelle Rodriguez.

The model has discreetly shared snaps with her beau on her instagram account as they apparently enjoyed some serious globe-trotting - documenting loved-up appearances in Sweden, Copenhagen, Mexico and New York.

However, they didn't make their first official appearance as a couple on the red carpet until the premiere of Zac's movie We Are Your Friends in Hollywood on August 20.

Sadly that film tanked at the box office, so Zac will be hoping for good things from the Neighbor's sequel - Sorority Rising - which he is currently filming alongside Seth Rogen.

Original cast members Rose Byrne and Dave Franco will also be returning to Greek Row.

Joining the cast is Chloe Moretz, as well as her just-revealed sorority sister Selena Gomez - who was outed as an unexpected addition thanks to eagle-eyed fans earlier this month.

Once again being directed by Nicholas Stoller, those behind the second film are hoping to repeat the success of the original which grossed $269 million worldwide, when it is released May, 2016.
