Kris Jenner breaks down in tears as she goes through Bruce Jenner's old clothes in an emotional clip ahead of Sunday's Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The items were being thrown out by Caitlyn Jenner, and Kim Kardashian took some of the clothes to give to her mother and siblings as a memento of Bruce.

However, Kris, 59, soon begins crying as the clothes stir up painful memories.

'I wanted to give you these things,' Kim, 34, tells her mom as she arrives at Kris' house holding a number of clothing bags.

'Caitlyn let me take this,' she says, holding up a Gucci jacket with the tag still on.

An emotional Kris says 'Yeah, I bought him that.'

Memories: Kim Kardashian saved some of Bruce's old clothes, which Caitlyn was throwing out, to give to her mom and sisters

Tough: Kris quickly grows emotional as the clothes bring up happier memories of Bruce

Emotional: Kris tells Kim that the items still smell like Bruce during the emotional episode

Letting go: The 59-year-old reality matriarch has struggled with Bruce's transition to Caitlyn

And when Kim asks about some other stuff of Bruce's she sent her mom, Kris tears up and says 'I didn't have the nerve to open the bag.'

'It makes me really sad,' Kris tells Kim, as she wipes tears from her eyes.

She then tells the camera: 'I think going through something like this is difficult because the whole thing is something I've never dealt with before and I realize that I still have a long way to go before I can process all of this and understand it.'

Overcome: Kris tells the camera that seeing Bruce's old clothes, some of which she bought as gifts during their marriage, makes his transition even more real

It's over: Kris and Bruce, now Caitlyn, finalized their divorce in December last year after 22 years of marriage

'And seeing these clothes and realizing that Bruce has thrown them out makes it real.'

As they go through the items, Kris hugs a jacket to her chest and even sniffs at one of the shirts, a Burberry shirt he wore for their Burberry Christmas card.

'Long time ago,' says Kris, who then pulls the shirt close and takes a whiff.

'It still smells like him,' she tells Kim.

Mementos: Kris admits that she couldn't handle opening a previous shipment of Bruce's things that Kim gave her

Kim says 'Just anything that I thought would remind you of him, like this Polo velvet I felt like you would like,' she says, handing her emotional mom a black jacket.

Kris takes the jacket and clutches it to her chest, trying to hold back tears.

'I thought Kendall and Kylie and Khloe and all the kids could each take whatever polo shirt reminded us of him,' says Kim as they go through Caitlyn's cast-offs.

Kris then embraces Kim, saying 'thank you'.
