Jennifer Garner recently remarked that she and Ben Affleck are 'doing really well' despite their split.

The two were having an easygoing time as they stepped out separately in Los Angeles' Brentwood area on Wednesday.

Their outing comes on the heels of news that Ben's mother Christine Boldt is pleading with Jennifer to 'halt the divorce proceedings' and make the marriage work, according to In Touch.

Jennifer, 44, certainly seemed to be in a chipper mood while grabbing multiple coffees which she balanced in a takeout tray.

She was dressed down in faded jeans and a violet-blue T-shirt that was partly tucked into the waistband, along with white trainers.

Ben, also 44, looked more refreshed than usual in navy trousers with a matching crew-necked jumper as he went about his solo errand.

Ben's mother has made a heartfelt plea to her daughter-in-law to stop the divorce from going forth and give her son another chance, In Touch is reporting.

That is causing some confusion on Jennifer's part as she navigates through separation and co-parenting of the couple's three children Violet, 10, Seraphina, seven, and Samuel, four.

'Jen is torn and doesn't know what to do,' a source told the publication.

A mother's love: Ben's mom Christine worries that her son 'will go off the rails without the family to ground him,' a source told the publication

It all started when Boldt made her feelings known to the Mother's Day star, as reported in In Touch.

'She's asked Jen to halt the divorce proceedings,' the source said.

The emotional well-being of the Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice is at the crux of the request.

History repeating itself 'is her biggest nightmare,' added the source.

As it stands now, Jennifer and Ben are both reportedly living in separate residences on their Pacific Palisades, California compound so they can try to keep things as normal as possible for their youngsters.
