The City of Stillwater Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to providing a wide range of services, programs and facilities that improve the quality of life for those who live, work and play in Stillwater.

Our mission is two-fold: 1) To develop, enhance and maintain city parks and recreational facilities at the highest level possible; 2) To provide exceptional recreational, cultural, educational and leisure opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

» Programs & Services:

Adopt-a-Park: A volunteer program for citizens, groups and businesses to participate in the beautification of our city’s parks, plazas and trails.

Facility Reservations: Various park facilities can be reserved for a fee.

Forestry: Provides information about trees to the public, as well as managing tree planting projects and tree maintenance issues in our parks and public spaces.

Park Operations: Responsible for maintenance and repairs to parks and facilities.

Sports: Programs for adults and youth include baseball, softball, tennis, soccer, basketball, and volleyball.
