People ask me everyday what was the strongest product that I have taken to lose weight the fastest. I took
Prothinspo's Hydroxylim/ Diet Slim...I chose this product because of two studies.... The first studied showed
a more rapid and effective weight loss than other diet products.This study set out to determine the efficacy
of a calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA extract from Garcinia cambogia alone and in combination with niacin-
bound chromium and a standardized Gymnema Sylvestre Extract on weight-loss parameters in human
volunteers. I know blah blah, but  In a double-blind fashion,
60 moderately obese individuals were
randomly assigned to three groups.
Group 1 received just calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA extract from Garcinia cambogia.
Group 2 received the Garcinia cambogia extract, chromium polynicotinate, and Gymnema sylvestre extract.
Group 3 received a placebo. All subjects received a 2000 kcal/day diet, participated in supervised walking
five times per week, and took their assigned test supplements 3 times daily, 30 to 60 minutes before meals.
Test measurements were then performed throughout the study, evaluating changes in bodyweight, body
mass index (BMI), appetite, blood lipids, and markers of fat oxidation.
After 8 weeks,
Group 1 lost an average of 10 pounds, Group 2 lost 12.54 pounds, and the placebo group
lost 3.53 pounds. At 8 weeks, both Group 1 and 2 were found to have lost significantly more weight than
the placebo group. A reduction in appetite was also demonstrated in both Group 1 and 2. In addition, both
Group 1 and 2 showed a significant increase in indicators of fat breakdown. It was concluded that
supplementation with the combination of (-)– hydroxycitric acid (HCA-SX), niacin-bound chromium, and
Gymnema Sylvestre Extract can help people with weight management.

The next study was an 8 week study....In this 8-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human
trial, 30 moderately obese subjects were divided into three groups. Group 1 received just the
calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA extract from Garcinia cambogia. Group 2 received Garcinia cambogia
extract, chromium polynicotinate, and Gymnema sylvestre extract. Group 3 received a placebo. All subjects
were placed on a 2000 kcal/day diet; ingested the assigned test supplements 3 times daily, 30 to 60 minutes
prior to meals; and participated in supervised walking five times per week. At the end of 8 weeks, Group 1
lost, on average, 12.1 pounds. Group 2 lost, on average, 14.99 pounds. Group 3 lost, on average, 3.06
pounds. At the end of the study period, weight-loss values in both Group 1 and Group 2 were significantly
greater than in the placebo group. Moreover, the placebo group showed a slight increase in food

Stop Midnight Munching!

Is a bedtime snack part of your nightly ritual? Do you routinely eat
dinner late due to work, exercise or family commitments? Many
people find themselves falling into the habit of eating at night, making
it difficult to lose weight. Take a look at the following typical reasons
for nighttime eating and start making changes today!

A matter of time

Eating dinner less than two hours before you go to bed won't
necessarily cause weight gain, but it does mean that this meal should
be the smallest of the day. It simply makes sense to eat most of our
calories when we're active during the day. If you find evenings are
filled with activities that push your dinner hour to a less than desirable
time, try these strategies:

Make lunch your main meal of the day, and choose a small sandwich
with fruit or a salad, a small plate of pasta and vegetables or even a
bowl of cereal and fruit for your late-night dinner.
Schedule a snack around a more appropriate dinnertime. Make sure
the snack is packed with nutrients and not just something quick you
grab on your way out the door. Good ideas include half a sandwich,
yogurt or cottage cheese with fruit, a small baked potato with salsa, or
one to two ounces of low-fat cheese and whole-grain crackers. This
healthy snack will keep you going during the evening, and you won't
be so famished that you overeat when dinnertime finally arrives.
Pick up a healthy meal at the grocery store on your way home. Many
supermarkets now have excellent salad and soup bars, cut-up fresh
fruit and vegetables, whole-grain breads, and roasted chicken.
Remember to choose small portions and avoid fried foods or foods
coated with fatty sauces.

Look at your entire day

Some people cut back their calorie intake so far during the day that
they're literally starving at night. Unable to choose small portions, they
often fill up on high-fat snack foods, overeat at dinner and give in to
late-night snacking urges. If you're trying to lose weight but feel
evenings are your downfall, try these ideas:

Make sure to eat breakfast and lunch. Try to consume 2/3 of your total
daily calorie intake before dinner. If your goal is 1500 calories, that
means you should consume 1000 calories at breakfast, lunch and
snacks; dinner should be no more than 500 calories. If your evening
meal occurs very late, downsize that meal even more and replace
those calories earlier in the day.




Include protein and small amounts of fat at breakfast and lunch. If you
choose foods high in carbohydrate, such as cereal and milk for
breakfast and a yogurt with fruit for lunch, you're setting yourself up
for a protein-driven hunger attack. Add a slice of toast with peanut
butter to breakfast, and include a sandwich or legume-based soup
with lunch to provide more energy and staying power.
Include foods you enjoy in your daily food choices. Many people have
tremendous willpower during the day when working, then get home in
the evening and fall apart. If chocolate is your downfall, try a glass of
chocolate milk with lunch. If crunching is your urge, add a handful of
nuts or seeds as an afternoon snack.

Eating when stressed

Overeating is a typical response to stress. Eating relaxes many
people, and some use eating as a way to escape the stress of the day.
Instead of eating, try these ideas:

Cut back on caffeine intake to no more than one cup of coffee or 12
ounces of other caffeinated beverages in the morning only. Drink
water or vegetable juices instead and you'll find you feel more relaxed
and have more energy as well.
Practice a stress-reduction technique such as yoga or meditation on a
regular basis.
Make sure that you're getting some form of exercise every day. Not
only will exercise make you feel better and help with weight loss, it
also helps reduce feelings of stress.
Figure out alternate ways to deal with your emotions. If you eat when
tired, try taking a nap instead of eating. If you're angry, reduce that
anger by writing down your feelings or discussing them with a friend
instead of wolfing down a candy bar.


When nighttime eating becomes a habit

If your normal evening routine involves sitting in front of the television
with a bowl of ice cream, popcorn or other snack, you've probably
developed a bad habit. Like all habits, eating at night can be difficult to
change. Give yourself at least two months of trying these ideas:

Don't watch TV at night. Work on a hobby, call a friend, read a book,
go dancing. Research has shown that the more hours of TV we watch,
the more we weigh.
Only watch TV if you're exercising at the same time. That's right, get
out the treadmill and walk while watching your favorite show, or use
your exercise bike when the evening news is on. No exercise, no TV.
If you want to eat an evening snack, go to the kitchen, sit at the table,
and eat your snack. No TV while eating! Many of us snack mindlessly
while watching TV. With this method, you can still snack if you're
really hungry, but it takes some effort.
Avoid any alcohol in the evening. Alcohol not only contains calories, it
also increases our appetite and reduces our resolve to change eating
habits.

The Problem
I eat very healthily during the day, but I just can't stop snacking like crazy all
night long. What can I do to combat my nighttime munchies?  

The Solutions:

1. Avoid TV

Don't watch television. Simple cues make me voraciously hungry. Just last
night, driving past a pizza delivery car made me yearn for pizza. I had to
work hard not to order one the minute I got home. Don't let food

Have filling foods for your meals. Make sure that you're eating at least six
small meals a day that contain one carb, one protein and one vegetable or

getting enough fat -- or perhaps protein -- during the day. What I suggest is
having a cup of yogurt, or maybe reduced-fat cottage cheese. If that
doesn't hit the spot, then eat more often during the day (but reduce your

4. Brush and floss

Once you've finished dinner, brush and floss your teeth very thoroughly.
Then pour yourself a glass of water to sip while you watch TV, etc. Keep
filling the glass -- you won't be as tempted to eat. If it's a cold evening, a

7. Stay busy

Don't let yourself get bored at night. The day isn't over at 5pm. Stay busy.
Remind yourself that your day really begins after you get off work. That's time
to spend in a bath, at the gym, walking your dog, writing in a journal, surfing the
Net, playing with your kids or reading a good book. Don't just sit on the couch

My trick is to pick a chore that needs to be done on my way home from work.
Once I've finished dinner and my daughter is ready for bed, I concentrate on the
chore. If I find that I'm hungry, I have a glass of water, or a glass of milk for a
more filling effect. If I finish fast, I pop in a quick workout or yoga tape and then

I find that I snack in the evening when I'm not doing something with my hands.
Now I work on puzzles, cross-stitch or work on some other craft while I'm
watching TV. Or I clean the house. If I do snack, I try to make it fruit. I'm usually
craving a crunchy snack, so an apple satisfies that craving and is healthy.

If you don't want to snack at night, then you must go to bed early. Keep busy
with housework and chores and the next thing you know it's time for bed. You

Move away from the food source(s) in your home (and eat only in the kitchen or
dining room). Set up your books, hobbies, pot of hot tea or bottle of water far
away from the food and get interested in other diversions. Go for a walk and

I moved my computer upstairs and put a TV and VCR in the room as well. Now I
have to choose to go downstairs to get a snack and come back up. This seems

have good stuff like fruit, then that's all you'll be able to eat. And believe me --

Tips for Anorexia and Bulimia

1.Drink lots of ice cold water. Cold water raises motabolism and burns calories. Also, when you are thirsty, you may confuse hunger
for thirst.
2.Take multi vitamins. Make sure to get the water soluable ones and not the fat soluable ones. I made this mistake myself. Vitamins
will also reduce appetite.
3.Protein especially. When you exercise alot you break down your muscles. Protein helps build muscles. Muscles= faster
motabolism.
4.Switch to non- fat or low fat everything.
5.Caffeine is a god- send. It will aid in suppressing appetite, higher energy, and burns calories. But be carefull and drink extra water
when consuming caffeine.
6."An aspirin a day burns fat and raises metabolism." One of the worst things you can do to your body. DO NOT do this.
7.Find your binge triggers and avoid them at any and all costs.
8.Sleep every chance you get! (This is coming from an insomniac who tells you to drink more coffee!)
9.Set rules regarding food. Star off with a couple easy one you know you can follow and gradually add to the list.
10.Reward yourself for completed goals. But not with food. Doh!
11.Eat slowly, in small bites. Cut your food into small peices. pause frequently to drink water or your favorite diet drink. Also, when at
dinner with friends or family, talk cheerfully. Take their attention off your eating habbits.
12.Think about food before and while you eat it. Totally focus on the taste of it. Think about what it went through before it got to you.
13.Only eat when you have to eat with your family or friends. In other words, never eat alone.
14.If you feel yourself starting to slip into binge mode, put your fork down, clear your mind and remind yourself that you are going to
finish....you're just pausing to catch your breath.
15.Sabotage your food. Put too much pepper, an ingridient you dont like, or too much water. Don't use salt, it'll bloat you.
16.When you are bloated, the more water you drink, the faster you lose that water weight. The main reason anas appear bloated is
because they are dehydrated. 17.Also lemon juice is a natural diuretic.
18.Start hiding your behaviors before anyone ever notices them.
19.Don't ever bring up the subject about weight around anyone. Don't say you think you are fat.
20.Don't show off your weight- loss with anyone until you reach your ultimate goal. Until then, wear baggy, loose fitting clothes.
21.Set yourself a weigh- and- measure date. like the first of every month. Do not do it every day.
22.Throw out food that you would have otherwise eaten. Cut out the middleman.
23.Apple cidar vinegar helps raise motabolism and burn fat. Also works as an appetite suppressant. Dilute it in a carbonated drink or
water.
24.Try to cut out sodas altogether. They cause you to reatain fat. Even diet sodas.
25.Chew on ice.
26.Vegetables!
27.Keep moving when you're sitting. Tap your fingers, bounce your knees, whatever.
28.Practice good posture. It burns more calories and actually tones your abs.
29.Brush your teeth when you crave something.
30.Always sleep on an empty stomach.
31.Keep busy. Refer to the Distractions section.
32.Make your room your sanctuary.Always keep the doors shut and let only select people in there, if any.
33.Take tums. They reduce stomach acid, hence making you not hungry. This also woks with ant- acid pills and alka- setzer.
34.Drink afull glass of water every hour.
35.It is possible to drink too much water. It can actually work the same as purging. It will dry you out of electrolytes just as purging
would.
36.Always eat the healthy, less calorie foods first when you have to eat dinner.
37.The more water you drink in between bites will make food come up better when purging.
38.If you are mia, take your vitamins at night, when you will not purge the rest of the day.
39.DO NOT USE SYRUP OF IPECAC!!!! I cannot stress this enough.
40.If you are one who does not like jalopenos (like me), because they are way too hot for you... take a bite of one every time you feel a
craving coming on and you will end up drinking so much water that you couldn't possibly think of eating.
41.The best purging trick that doctors don't know about: ROCK SALT! Take two table spoons of this stuff as you would your vitamins
with a litre of warm liquid. Make sure you are near a bucket though, it will catch you by surprise. Best of all, almost undetected by
family because no bruises on your knuckles.
More


Hiding It

1.If you are one who is always with friends you can say you already ate. (duh)
2.If you (like me), are very seldom with friends and live at home (like me) with your parents, try chew/ spitting or spit into a napkin. I
came up with this way to hide the food and it uses less napkins. This will only work on a kitchen table that laps all around; meaning if
you were to tape someting to the bottom you would not be able to see it ( unless of course you got under the table). Okay, next you get
a gallon sized freezer bag. Open the zip part. Tape the bottom of the bag very securely to the underside of the table. Next tape the top
part of the open zip lock bag to the underside of the table. The open part should be on the same side as the hand you would normally
wipe your mouth with. Now you are ready to eat dinner (not!). When you are eating, pretend you are wiping your mouth (be sure no
one is looking at you or talking to you, this works best when your parents are talking to eachother) and spit your food into the napkin.
Next, using one hand under the table, open the napkin and put the food into the bag. Then repeat. This of course takes practice, but I
know it works because I have been doing it for two years.
3.Try not to be too obvious by getting such small amounts, but try not to get too much and NEVER go for seconds. Every calorie counts.
4.Say you don't feel well, you have the stomach flu. This works for up to two weeks. Enough time for a good fast. Be sure to look like
your eating.
5.When you lose a serious amount of weight start wearing baggy clothes. If someone asks why your wearing those kinda clothes just
say you are bloated. This only works for the girls. (Sorry guys!)
6.Try to maintain your grades at school. If they drop dramatically, their first thought of course would be drugs. Then they'll watch you
more closely and make life so much harder on you.
7.Always erase your pro- ana site history. If you don't know how to do that, ask another ana buddy or e- mail me.
8.NEVER leave a thinspiration book or your journal/ diary just lying around. This goes for links to other pro sites.
9.Never leave cut- up magazines around.
10.Don't talk about how fat you think you are or how thin this or that actress is.
11.Don't brag about your weightloss until you have reached your goal. This of course does not attain to your ana buddies.
12.Whatever you do don't let your friends or family watch movies about ana or mia or how terrible pro ana sites are. Their first
reaction would be to take a good long look at their loved- ones.
13.Avoid going to the doctor at all costs.
If you do have to visit the doctor and you are underweight, here are some things you can try: drink tons of water, if you know you are
going to the doctor a few days in advance you can load op on salt; you can lose the water weight alot easier,Wear heavy clothes and
clunky shoes, wear extra jewlry, paint your nails with extra layers ( every ounce counts, remember 16 ounces make a pound), if the
doctors office isn't too far from your house you can wash your hair right before going, layer the inside bottom of your shoes with
coins, ( I hate to say this) but don't scrub your body for a few days and don't shave your legs, when the doctor weighs you, say "hey, I
lost some weight!" pay attention to your facial expressions upon saying this, when you are weighed, and when the doctor talks to
you. If you are still underweight after all that and the doctor asks you about it just say you've been so busy and you too are unhappy
with your weight loss, say it definately wasn't intentional, you can even say you haven't felt well.
14.If you are mia, say ( before the doc checks you out) that you have been throwing up lately... if you have bruises on your knuckles
you can cover them with make- up.
15.Try to get out of the house more.
While with other people you can say: you are diabetic, the doctor put you on a special diet, you're just not feeling well, you already ate
( go into detail of how that burger, hot dog, etc. you ate tasted terrible; you may have even gotten food poisoning) or you just don't care
for whatever resturant you were invited to, you can even say you got food poisoning there once. ( I wouldn't suggest the food
poisoning excuse if your family owns the returant).


Burning a pound


It takes 3500 calories extra or less to gain or lose a pound of fat. You must take in 3500 calories more than you put out to gain a
pound and you must take in or burn off 3500 calories less than your body needs to lose a pound. It takes 13 calories per pound of
body weight per day just to keep you alive, so say you weigh 100lbs, it takes 1300 calories a day just to keep you alive even if you just
lay in bed all day. On the dark side, if you've been restricting like mad (under 1000 cal. a day or so) then your metabolism has slowed
down and it may take you only 2000 or so cal. to gain a pound, but it may take as many as 4000 you would need to burn to lose that
same pound cause your body thinks there is a famine going on and it fights like hell to keep you alive. That is why it is good to stop
dieting once in a while, eat a little more (at least 1500 cal) and just maintain your current weight for a few weeks to let your
metabolism even itself out. Then you'll be able to lose again even better and with less risk of messing yourself up.





How To Erase Your History

Sorry guys, just your computers history. This is if you have Windows 2000 xp.

1. Go to "Tools".
2. Go to "Internet Options".
2. Click "Delete Cookies"
3. When it says "Are you sure you want to delete cookies?", click "Okay".
4. Next click "Delete Files".
5. When it says "Are you sure...." check the box that says "Delete offline content" and click "Okay".
6. Next click "Clear History".
7. Click "Okay".

To Delete Saved Passwords
Warning: this will also delete your saved passwords to get online. Make sure you rember your password before you do this.

1. Go to "Tools".
2. Go to "Internet Options".
3. Go to "Content".
4. Next click "Clear Forms". This will clear the auto complete forms for visited websites and searches.
5. Click "Okay".
6. Go to "Clear Passwords".
7. Click "Okay".

How To Clear Your Search History

1. If you have a google search bar, click on the down arrow located to the right of it, after the "e" in "Google".
2. Hit "Clear search history".
3. Your all set!
