'It's fun, I'm not gonna lie!': A radiant Mariah Carey dishes on her new relationship with billionaire James Packer during NYC party

Mariah Carey has dished on her new relationship with billionaire beau, James Packer, coyly saying 'It's fun, I'm not gonna lie.'

The 45-year-old singer made the comment during the Harper’s Bazaar Icons issue party at The Plaza Hotel in New York on Wednesday, where she stepped out solo.

'He's not joining me inside tonight,' she told Entertainment Tonight. 'But we were together last night, so that was fun.'

The superstar started dating the Australian businessman during the summer and the pair enjoyed a luxury vacation on his mega-yacht.

Mariah split from estranged husband Nick Cannon in summer 2014 after six years of marriage and it has been claimed that she and James, 48, are eager to tie the knot.

A source previously said: 'James wants to marry her sooner rather than later, and she is very open to the idea.'

The couple are said to have already discussed having a child together, as Mariah, who has four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with Nick, wants to have a baby with James, who has three children from previous relationships.

Another insider said: 'Mariah feels that having a child with James would be a blessing from God. She wants another child and is telling friends she's not too old.'

Meanwhile, Mariah dressed up as another famous diva, Marie Antoinette, for legendary photographer Jean-Paul Goude in the Harper's Bazaar Icons issue.

And on Wednesday she told ET her personal icons included 'Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross - I mean there's too many people to name.'

She added: 'My favorite person of all time is Marilyn Monroe,' saying she named her daughter after the Some Like It Hot star.

However, Maria laughed off the idea that any young divas could portray her in a similar capacity. 'No up and comers portraying me,' she insisted to ET. 'I'll have to portray myself no matter what.'
