Her hair slicked back, she'd added a touch of glitz by way of glinting stud earrings, and the Nerve actress completed her ensemble with pale pink ankle-strap stilettos.

Whilst on the red carpet, she got in a bit of posing alongside her co-stars Danielle Brookes, Laverne Cox, Uzo Aduba, Blair Brown, Taryn Manning and Taylor Schilling.

With the exception of Blair, all of these actresses have been appearing on the show since the first season, Blair having hopped aboard the series starting in 2015.

Martha Stewart Weddings posted an exclusive Instagram photo from Samira and Lauren's wedding, which the caption revealed had taken place in Palm Springs.

The happy couple were seen beaming at each other as they held hands at the base of a foliage-lined stone staircase, and were both in white Christian Siriano gowns.

Shortly thereafter, both their Instagram pages showed they'd celebrated in the wake of their wedding by enjoying a day at Disneyland with a claque of their friends.

Lauren and Samira, who's now among the stars of the feverishly hyped Margaret Atwood adaptation The Handmaid's Tale at Hulu, had been together since 2014.

In an interview USA Today ran shortly before the wedding, Samira had discussed their openness about their romance, saying: 'Lauren and I both really believe in LGBT visibility and I think that we have done that in a really unapologetic way.'

Referring to 'The way that we live our lives, the way that we post pictures of each other,' she went on to say; 'Sometimes I don’t feel like we’re doing something that’s so radical. We’re just living our lives. But in these times, it is radical, because people have not felt comfortable just living their lives.'
