Spare a thought for the mums at Alessandra Ambrosio’s daughter’s school.

Parents on the school run have to compete with the supermodel when it comes to looking their best as they collect their little darlings from the school gates.

The Victoria’s Secret model was spotted showing off her amazing body in a pair of tiny denim shorts as she picked up her little girl on Thursday.

The 32-year-old Brazilian beauty may have been dressed down for her motherly duties but she still managed to stand out at the school gates in her barely there cut-offs.

Alessandra was picking up her five-year-old daughter Anja, showing off those famous legs in the thigh skimming shorts.

The supermodel added an embellished army green jacket and a pair of unusual knee high boots to complete her look as she accessorised with Anja's pink backpack.

Little Anja looked the spitting image of her gorgeous mum as she ran alongside dressed in a stylish monochrome outfit of bow lined shirt and a puffy sleeved jacket.

It was school picture day for the mini model in the making so no wonder she was dressed to impress.

Later on in the day The Victoria’s Secret Angel swapped her denim for an equally short hot pink dress for a dinner out in West Hollywood.

The model beamed away as she left the Fig & Olive restaurant, looking amazing in her ruffled mini dress, which she paired with a quilted white jacket and coordinating pumps.

With her brunette locks tied back the star added some statement blue feathered drop earrings to add another pop of colour to her already brighter than bright ensemble.

The model looked happy to have a night on the town following a bit of family drama the day before when her fiancé was spotted driving his car with the couple’s baby son on his lap.

Jamie Mazur took a drive near the couple’s home in Brentwood, California with Noah, 17 months, but instead of having the youngster strapped safely into a baby seat, he held Noah on his lap.

While the tot looked to be having the time of his life, sporting a huge smile as he clutched the steering wheel, there is no doubt that Jason will be criticised for the reckless move.

Jamie’s reckless behaviour mirrored Britney Spears’ motoring faux pas when she was snapped in February 2006 driving along with son Sean Preston on her lap rather than strapped safely into a baby car seat.

At the time, the singer used the bizarre defence that she'd put him on her lap to 'escape the paparazzi’.

In photographs taken at the scene, another vehicle can clearly be seen driving along the road behind Jamie, which could have proved dangerous for him and Noah.

According to California statute Section 27360 ‘a parent, legal guardian, or driver shall not transport on a highway in a motor vehicle… a child or ward who is under eight years of age, without properly securing that child in a rear seat in an appropriate child passenger restraint system meeting applicable federal motor vehicle safety standards’.

In California, violating the seat belt law is a primary offense meaning that if Jamie was spotted by an officer he would have been pulled over and received a ticket.

There was no sign of Alessandra or the couple’s five-year-old daughter Anja.

MailOnline has contacted a representative for Ms Ambrosio for comment.

She may be a supermodel but her legs are awful! Just look at those pictures in the pink dress-two skinny sticks with boney knees!And her face isn't very pretty either,and has zero curves which is really odd for a lingerie model.Barely average looking woman who got really very very lucky. I see way better looking girls every day.
