Her Harry Potter alter-ego, Hermione was always top of the class and it looks like Emma Watson will be getting an ‘A’ for generosity after donating books by feminists to university students.

The actress, 27, below, was appointed a visiting fellow at Lady Margaret Hall by Oxford University in 2016.

Now Emma, who runs an online feminist book club called Our Shared Shelf, is sending copies of her favourite paperbacks to the prestigious uni.

A batch of eight books that appeared by magic in the library included Half The Sky: How To Change The World, by husband and wife team Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, My Life On The Road by Gloria Steinem, The Color Purple by Alice Walker, Caitlin Moran’s How To Be A Woman and Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi.
