TVC Announces Boycott Of Homosexual TV Channel Advertisers
Summary: MTV, one of the sleaziest cable channels available, has just announced plans to launch LOGO, a homosexual-themed cable network in February, 2005.
With the announcement on May 25, 2004, that MTV is launching LOGO, a cable channel
devoted to the promotion of homosexuality, TVC's Chairman Rev. Louis P. Sheldon
is committed to a national boycott of advertisers on LOGO.
Rev. Sheldon told the Associated
Press: "It doesn't improve television. It only continues to offer moral
anarchy for a very seriously dysfunctional lifestyle."
In a follow up statement on LOGO, Rev. Sheldon noted that this new network "is
the wrong message at this wrong time in our nation's history. We already have
sex-obsessed programming in HBO, BET, and MTV. Homosexuality is defined by sex,
and this channel is bound to take us into new, dirty unchartered waters. For my
part, TVC will participate with other pro-family groups in the boycott of any
advertisers on this new channel. CBS/VIACOM's new channel is about sex and money."

Homosexual-Themed
Cable TV Network to Debut Next Year -- 05/25/2004
According to LOGO's
web site, the network is working with VIACOM's other networks, including MTV,
VH1, TVLand, CMT, Comedy Central, Showtime, and CBS News, to develop programming.
LOGO is in discussion with General
Motors, IBM, American
Express, Avis, Pfizer,
and other companies for advertising. Orbitz,
the travel service, has already committed to advertising on LOGO. In fact, Orbitz
has a "Gay
Travel" section on its web site.
TAKE ACTION: Contact these companies and tell them you will boycott their
products if they advertise on LOGO. Encourage them to read TVC's special reports
on homosexual
diseases, homosexual
urban legends, and the targeting
of children for sexual seduction.
